ASPCA $100k Challenge

What's your ASPCA $100K Challenge Story? ASPCA Challenge

Join us in the fight to save lives!

50 Shelters <--> 3 Months <--> $100,000

Help Us Save Lives and WIN the $100,000 ASPCA Challenge!
Let’s Save 2400 Lives by October 31st

We are very excited to join the 49 other shelters across the nation that are participating in this challenge to save more pet lives in our communities. Getting the word out about the challenge is half of the battle and the community's involvement will make all of the difference.

How you can help:

  1. ADOPT, ADOPT, ADOPT!!!
  2. Find out if any of your neighbors, family or friends are thinking about adopting a cat or dog and encourage them to stop by the shelter.
  3. Follow our Blog, Twitter and our Facebook pages to keep up on our progress, activities and promotions.
  4. Getting the word out is critical! You can help by promoting the Challenge and our adoption animals on your Facebook pages, via email, or through Twitter.
  5. Send us photos or stories of your experiences with our agency to animal@slco.org.
  6. Help a lost pet find its owner. Check the lost pet section of online sites like KSL.com and then check our lost/found section of our website.
  7. Get involved in the discussion directly on our ASPCA Challenge Page.
  8. Get creative and let us know your ideas! You can even e-mail them to us at animal@slco.org.
  9. Stop by the shelter and pick up a car cling ($2) or door magnet ($3) to help us advertise and get the word out.  Be sure to send us a photo of the magnet on your car so we can highlight community support! We have two designs available (click on the images for a full-size pdf image):
